A necklace of long, fluted copper beads enamelled in robin's egg blue. The beads are strung on a hot pink powdercoated chain, which peeps out from between the beads at intervals.
The artist states:
These Braille neckpieces reflect a linking of the texture of my vessels with my work as a speech pathologist, often using tactile forms of communication. By focussing on the texture rather than the look of my work, I have attempted to make jewellery that is more inclusive and meaningful to the visually impaired.
