Artist Carl Noonan has crafted this schmick ring out of titanium and sterling silver. The ring is a fusion of predominantly clean/industrial forms, mixed with organic/natural textures. The ring shape is a triangle that has had the corners flattened. On the top face of the the triangle are 8 intersecting curved lines, which radiate out from one corner. Four of the lines face the same way, and the same is true of the other four, so that they overlap. Between the lines are gaps which have been filled or partially filled with sterling silver. The partially filled sections look like the side of a cliff face. The triangle is orientated to have one of the flat edges running in line with the finger. Noonan has followed the lines of the triangle down to the shank, meaning that one side of the shank is as thick as the flat edge and then tapers around the finger, to match up with the corner. The top is smooth and flat with a brushed finish. Majority of the ring is made from smooth curved titanium, which has a polished grey colour.
