These hook earrings from Jane Francis Reilly have been crafted in copper coated with enamel paint, finished with sterling silver ear hooks. Each pair is unique, and each earring is slightly different but still matching.
This pair is made of hanging asymmetrical arch shapes, with one earrings being wider and shorter than the other for a funky look. These earrings are reversible, with one side multicoloured and the other white. The multicoloured features purple, dark green and light green rounded shapes.
Over the top of these shapes are engraved black lines in a funky design, with a sunburst design in the centre. The white side has been engraved with a small semi-circular pattern and lines travelling downwards.

With training in both ceramics and jewellery making, Jane Frances Reilly brings to life her surroundings in blocks of bright colour and monochromatic line. Her motifs and mark-making are like drawings that tell stories of memories, and Reilly takes inspiration from the home, garden, footpaths and roads. Although responding to her immediate surroundings, Reilly’s pieces are in fact an abstraction of her world.
Working predominantly in copper, paint and sterling silver, Reilly’s pieces possess a playful presence.
