Lauren Trojkovic draws inspiration from the lapidary world for its finessed, angular forms. She also looks to the natural environment for the incidental irregular beauty it provides. Her jewellery often juxtaposes elements of these by contrasting asymmetric forms with clean lines, accented with her signature hand engraved textural embellishment.
Lauren arrived at gold and silversmithing after gaining qualifications in both graphic design and photography. She was seeking a more hands-on approach to expressing her creativity that saw her graduate with an Advanced Diploma of Jewellery and Object Design from Melbourne Polytechnic in 2017.
