Leonie Simpson is a Sydney-based contemporary jeweller who makes handcrafted and bespoke jewellery and objects. A lot of Leonie's work currently uses traditional methods, especially wax carving.
Using these techniques allows her work to bridge between the traditional and cultural methods of crafting and sculpting jewellery, and the precision of contemporary manufacturing and production techniques.
