This beautiful pendant by Michelle Cangiano is made from 9ct yellow gold. The single link halo is grain set with round sapphires, in colours of yellow and greeny blue. The front of the pendant is in a matte finish with the edges highly polished.
The pendant hangs from a 45cm 9ct yellow gold cable chain.

Michelle Cangiano is a practicing artist and jeweller where body adornment is the common thread that binds the two sides of her work. She uses a diverse range of materials in her jewellery and art practice from precious gemstones and metal to mild steel, paint and paper.
These materials vary in response to an idea or a collection yet the formal design elements remain a constant. Both sides of her work display a refined and pared back aesthetic incorporating clean, soft curves with a focus on colour and texture. She is fascinated by the concept that body adornment becomes imbued with the meanings / power of the wearer.
Completing a Fine Art Degree in Painting, Michelle went on to study Gold and Silversmithing at RMIT. She lives in Melbourne and exhibits her work locally and internationally.
