This uncut diamond ringhas a green coloured stone set into a faceted corner of the sterling silver ring. It's set amongst two small additions of gold. It's a highly textured section of the ring. It makes it look as though the ring has broken open like a rock and has revealed stones in it's new surface.
The band itself is a flat square with a high texture scratch surface
Otherworldly and organic, the artist aims to contrast geometric form with complex and organic textures. Sterling silver
Band diameter: approximately 2.7mm wide and 2-6mm thick
Rengin Guner’s philosophy is one of simplicity, seeing more in less. She draws on nature in her work, and is intrigued by the prevalence of harmony and beauty in systems which seem, at first glance, asymmetrical. Her distinctive style incorporates architectonic forms with themes of imperfect symmetry, irregularity and austerity to produce minimalist, geometric designs. The final works are statement pieces, full of individuality yet pared back enough to accompany either contemporary or classic styles.
