Imogen Evans uses a dichotomy of clean minimal lines, organic textures, and a touch of asymmetry in her practice. Using her drawings and iteration sketches, often created in response to stimuli such as music and her surroundings, Evans then creates her work by letting the technique and sometimes the variability of a process to further alter the final form.
Imogen Evans is and emerging contemporary jeweller based in Canberra, ACT. She graduated from RMIT University with a bachelor’s degree in Gold and Silversmithing in 2017.
