Pamela Camille’s current jewellery reflects her heritage and influences of a childhood spent with a lacemaking grandmother. Pam loves to tat lace and for as long as she can remember, she has carried around a tatting shuttle filled with thread in her bag or a coat pocket.
Recently Pam has developed a technique of turning delicate symbolic tatted shapes and patterns into pieces of silver and gold jewellery. Inspiration for this work evolves from her holidaying with family and friends in Northern Ireland. Visiting the Counties of Antrim and Londonderry she has experienced the magical landscapes, architecture, history and legends of this ancient land.
