This ring from Tessa Blazey was inspired by the 1998 Luc Besson film 'The Big Blue' and has a wonderful carved appearance. When the light hits different angles of the band, it gives the ring an illuminated quality. The stone is a stunning 0.69ct oval cut Ceylon pale blue sapphire. The range of colours that shine out of this stone are a striking blue that catches your eye.

Made in a signet style, the stone is set low in the ring. around the stone the gold has a rougher almost beaten texture.

Measurements: The ring is a size M. The band tapers from 7.2mm wide at the top, down to 2.5mm at the back of the band. The ring sits 4.5mm off the top of the finger. The stone measures at 5.6mm long and 4mm wide, it sits on an east-west direction.

Materials: 18ct yellow gold, oval cut Ceylon pale blue sapphire.
