KIN Gallery’s Evening workshops stretch your mind and build your practical gold and Silversmithing skills.
Each participant will be guided though the design process to plan, draw and make a piece (or pieces) based on the materials supplied. (sterling silver and base metals.)
Project based learning ensures each participants experience is unique to them and their skill level.
A range of skills will be explored, including but not limited to
Silver soldering
Material preparation
Cold joining
Make your own findings
Forging
Bench Hand skills
Includes all materials, consumables and personalised tuition required for 5 sessions.
Conditions of Booking
Participants are not to attend workshops should they display any signs of illness.
We will gladly rebook your workshop to the next available date if you need to postpone due to illness.
Your space in a class is reserved only once full payment has been received.
Our workshop tickets are non refundable, however if you are unable to attend and know this in advance, you may pass your ticket to someone else you wish to come in your place.
We will endeavour to send email reminders in the lead up to the workshop however; in the event you forget to come or you are unable to attend a workshop and fail to send someone in your place, the ticket is non transferable after the event.
Whilst arriving, attending and leaving the workshops, it is your responsibility to ensure that you maintain and adhere to all safety precautions and requirements during the workshop.
By attending a workshop you agree to holding full responsibility and liability to any damage caused to person or property during the workshop.
Workshops have specific age restrictions of 15+ and clothing requirements; including but not limited to enclosed footwear, non flammable clothing and long hair tied back. It remains the responsibility of the participants to ensure they adhere to these requirements. A copy of the safety contract will be given to participants to sign on arrival of each workshop.
KIN Gallery reserves the right to cancel a workshop if we cannot meet the minimum attendance requirements for the class. Customers will be given at least 72 hours notice of a cancellation. In the event that we cancel a workshop, a full refund or credit will be given to the customer.
Participants are not to attend workshops should they display any signs of illness.
Refunds will only be given in the event that workshop is cancelled and not re-scheduled.
Please note that strictly no other people, other than the booked person are to be in the workshop at anytime.
Weeknight workshops are non refundable, non transferrable and only for the dates booked for. Should you not be able to attend we require 14 days notice to reschedule subject to availability and a $30 rebooking fee. Class no shows and non attendance also subject to this.
