Titled 'Black Cutlery', these studs are an excellent example of Reilly's focus and whimsical creativity, with her signature etched patterning.
Enamelled black and white, each stud features a round shape connected to a spade shape by a line. Each round shape is black and decorated with dots. The spade shapes is mostly black with the bottom tip in white and black vertical lines. The reverse of each stud is predominantly white, there is horizontal black lines on the middle connecting metal.

With training in both ceramics and jewellery making, Jane Frances Reilly brings to life her surroundings in blocks of bright colour and monochromatic line.
